LONDON OR BUST...

I’ve been waiting to announce this for what seems like FOREVER, but it’s finally all official now!  I’m coming to London, baby!!!  And can I just tell you how excited I am?!?!

I will be at Foyles Charing Cross Road store on Saturday, May 12th at 2:30PM with James Dawson and Tanya Byrne (who I can’t wait to meet!!!).

In case you can’t tell just how excited I am, just notice my crazy use of exclamation points(!!!) throughout...Yes, I’m THAT excited, you guys!!! And here are a few reasons why:

1)   I’ve never been overseas.
2)   My family gets to come with me.
3)   Two words: British accents. (Anyone who knows me knows that I’ve always wanted one.  They sound very fancy!)

I can’t wait to get to London to sightsee and drink real British tea and eat and sightsee some more and go to the Tower of London and meet the queen (okay, maybe not meet the queen, but pretend I’m meeting the queen!) and see Beefeaters and shop at Harrods and try “bangers and mash” (whatever that is!) and see castles and...yes...I’m crazy excited...

And of course what I’m most excited about is meeting my UK readers...at long last!!!!

So please...please, please, please come and see me if you can. I don’t know when I’ll get another chance like this and I don’t want to miss you guys while I’m in town!!!

And for more events, closer to the US, check out my Events Page, because I totally want to see you guys too...but only if you pretend to have fancy British accents.  (I, of course, won’t need to pretend because I’ll be bringing one back with me from London.)

P.S. I will have nail polish to give away at my Portland (Powell’s) signing on Tuesday, April 24th and my Official Launch Party signing (Ravenna Third Place Books in Seattle) on Saturday, April 28th.  I will TRY(!!!) to bring some nail polish to the London signing as well, but I’m still working on the packing / shipping logistics.

I hope to see you all soon!  Cheerio!

Presenting...THE LAST ECHO Book Trailer!!!

If you’ve watched my first two book trailers, then you know I’ve been blessed by the book trailer gods (otherwise known as the madly talented Vania Stoyanova of VLC Productions!). Well, Vania (with the help of HarperCollins) has created yet another incredible trailer for the upcoming release of THE LAST ECHO (coming next Tuesday, April 17th)! I mean, seriously, this is arguably my favorite of the bunch!

Check it out:

I don’t know about you guys, but this trailer makes me want to look over my shoulder even more than usual!

All I can say is thankyouthankyouthankyou to Vania and HarperCollins--you've done it again!

Top Eight Favorite (and Two Least Favorite) Things About Easter

Favorite: Candy for breakfast, lunch, dinner…and dessert

Least Favorite: Getting up at the crack of dawn for an Easter egg hunt. Why can’t kids sleep past 7AM on holidays???

Least Favorite: Trying to figure out if any of the eggs are AWOL. The idea of finding one (or three!) of those suckers stuck in couch cushions/on window ledges/buried in plant containers months later...well, gross

Favorite: Hardboiled eggs = deviled eggs, egg salad sandwiches, and just plain ol’ hardboiled eggs. For weeks!

Favorite: Chocolate Bunnies. I’m not sure why I love eating chocolate in the shape of rabbits, but I totally do!

Favorite: Leftover candy. For lunch…the Monday after Easter.

Favorite: It’s the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown! Because who doesn’t love a good Charlie Brown holiday special???

Favorite: Hanging with the family. There are only a few days of the year where our entire family gathers to spend the day together, eating, watching movies, and just hanging out.

Favorite: Leftover candy for dinner...for pretty much the rest of the week. Apparently, the Easter Bunny brings us way too much!

Favorite: Game of Thrones. Need I say more??? (Of course, this show can only be watched after our daughter comes down from her sugar high and finally goes to bed.)

And here's an adorable little bunny for your viewing pleasure...

Happy Easter, everyone!!!

YOU CAN'T HIDE...

In case you hadn’t heard, I’m going to be in Chicago next week for RT (the Romantic Times Booklovers Convention). YAY!  If you’ve never attended RT, let me tell you about one of my most favoritest events EVER….the ginormous TEEN DAY celebration on Saturday, April 14th!

TEEN DAY is the only day of the convention that’s open to the public. You can either pay $5 at the door for the GIANT book signing expo from 11-2PM. OR...if you’re a Young Adult, you and one “chaperone” can pay a measly $25 for the entire day’s events which run from 11AM – 7:30PM!  All of the nit-picky details can be found here!

If you’re even kinda, sorta, maaaaybe thinking about coming, let me give you one more incentive: Not only will they have copies of THE LAST ECHO before-everyone-else-can-get-them, but I will also be bringing a limited number of The Last Echo nail polishes with me!!!

So, how do you get this creeptastically awesome swag, you ask?  Well, since I won’t have enough for everyone, all you have to do is come up to me at the giant signing event and say, “You can’t hide...”

(Mysterious, right? It’s kinda the catch-phrase for The Last Echo!)

As long as you say “You can’t hide”, and I still have polish left, it’s yours! Easy peasy!!!  It’s first come, first serve, so don’t you dare be shy! :)

Plus, you get to meet about a gajillion other YA (and non-YA) authors at the signing. Trust, me, it is so beyond cool!

If you’re already registered to attend RT, you should totally stop by on Wednesday, April 11th at 1:00PM for the panel I’m doing with Carrie Ryan, Kiera Cass, Rosemary Clement-Moore, and Kelly Keaton (aka Kelly Gay). It’s called Murder, Mayhem and Madness: YA ACTION & SUSPENSE, and I think you can guess there will probably be talk of serial killers, zombies, and kissing.

Don’t forget the phrase that pays (in nail polish): “You can’t hide!!!”

And if you won’t be in Chicago, be sure to check my Events Page to find out where I’ll be over the next month or so, because...I’m bringin’ my nail polish on the road with me!!!

Oh yeah, baby...
