TOO BUSY???


I think the new layout is a little too busy.
So, I'm asking you, and I need honesty. REAL HONESTY, PEOPLE! Not the fakey, WE LOVE IT! crap that you might give your boss when you don't want to hurt his feelings because his new hair plugs look like doll hair. I want to know that I have spinach stuck between my teeth or toilet paper hanging from my shoe.

So, tell me...

What do you think?

The design took a while to load, so at first I was like "What is she talking about?".

It is pretty, but generally I'm in the less is more camp.

Yeah right now the background is catching my attention more the the blog post. Less is definitely more like Lenore says. I think a nice header and a neutral background does the trick! It is pretty though.

It is very pretty, but the white text is a bit hard to read over the white sparkles on the side. Maybe you can tone down the color on the sidebar designs?
But it is pretty!

I vote for simpler background and bigger picture of you! Did you at one time have a larger photo behind the header or am I thinking of someone else?

I'm in the simpler is better crowd. Of course, I'm also in the I hate change crowd, so it's quite possible if I happened on your blog now for the first time, I'd hate to see it changed!

See? I am of no help.

It's pretty. But harder to read. But pretty.

Do you have something more along the dead body/psychic line? :)

I'm sold on the simpler model too. I'm hunting around for a new header that I like (and no, Christie, that wasn't me with the bigger picture of myself...no one wants to see that!).

Wow, I'm definitely the type to tell you within two seconds if you have something between your teeth or hanging from your pants/shoe, etc. I don't know...that's just me.

But I actually like it (and I'm a "simpler-is-me" kinda person too). I didn't find it hard to read at all because of the margins and the way it scrolls. I think it's cool!

FYI...it took me two seconds for me to tell my sis that her myspace page layout was killing me. If it was hard to read I would tell you!

maybe take off the stripes and make the side images thinner. I love the purple and dotty things.
