MY RELEASE DAY (in pics)!!!

I promised to share, so here it is, my release day picture post!

First, I woke up to a lovely gift from my hubby:


Isn’t it adorable (the bracelet, not the ring. Or the veins...the veins are not adorable!)???

And then we were off to scout bookstores. But here’s the thing, I wasn't prepared for how excited I would be to actually see my book on shelves. I knew it would be cool, but there was still a part of me that was sort of doing it because it was the-thing-to-do. So when we walked into the first store and I saw it…REALLY SAW IT, I may have screamed. Like a little girl!

We hit a few more stores, signed some stock (and, yes, my ID was checked, because apparently that’s a big problem, people walking into stores and offering to sign random books!), and then hit The Cheesecake Factory for the mother of all desserts...and some food, too.

Afterward, we stopped at one more bookstore, where TBF was shelved front-and-center! (OMG, look at all those great books surrounding it!):
