#YASH: Social Distancing Edition

I haven’t participated in YA Scavenger Hunt for a while, and for those of you who don’t know what the YA Scavenger Hunt is, let me break it down for you:

Basically, twice a year, a bunch of really cool young adult authors get together to offer you exclusive bonus material you can’t find anywhere else AND the chance to win REALLY COOL PRIZES (namely, free books)!!! The best part, what else do you have going on right now? I mean, we're all social distancing...and what could be better than free books when you’re trapped at home, am-I-right???

In order to play, you need to collect all of the clues. But do it fast; this contest (and all the exclusive bonus material) will only be online until April 5^th at noon Pacific time.

There are FOUR contests running simultaneously. I’m on the RED TEAM, but there is also a gold team, purple team, and blue team, each with an entirely different set of books you can win! (You will be allowed to enter the contests for all 4 teams or pick just one, but you may only enter for each team once.)

We are also now featuring a BONUS PRIZE. We select a group of authors who have participated in the hunt many times and fans can add up their numbers as well to enter for a $50 Amazon gift card. The list of those authors will be included on the YA Scavenger Hunt ENTRY page.

I know it sounds complicated, but it’s really super simple!

THE PUZZLE:

Directions: Somewhere below, you'll notice that I've listed my favorite number. Collect the favorite numbers of all the authors on the Red Team and then add them up (don't worry, you can use a calculator!).

Entry Form: Once you've got the number, make sure you fill out the form here to officially qualify for the grand prize. Only entries that have the correct number will qualify.

Rules: Open internationally, anyone below the age of 18 should have a parent or guardian's permission to enter. To be eligible for the grand prize, you must submit the completed entry form by April 5th, at noon Pacific Time. Entries sent without the correct number or without contact information will not be considered.
